A Classic Summer Wedding @ Miraval Berkshires

Featured Wedding

Harry and Adriana's wedding weekend was focused in family, laughter and a deep trust in letting things unfold naturally. Documented across digital and film with a focus on candid moments and genuine connection, their weekend featured two photographers, a videographer, and a couple who asked us simply to be present. No posed photos, no shot list, just the day as it happened. You can feel the emotion in each moment and I think it was simply stunning.

THE WELCOME

The weekend kicked off at Winbrooke in Tyringham, where the Berkshire hills do most of the decorating for you. Everything else, from the flowers, the string lights, the tables,  was there to complement what was already outside. Fresh, open, easy. The perfect start to a wedding weekend.

What I loved most was how close everyone felt from the very first night. No easing in, no feeling each other out. Just a group of people who could all clearly see what Harry and Adriana already know about each other. Some couples you just look at and think... of course!

THE MORNING

Harry and Adriana's wedding day at Miraval began with the kind of morning that sets everything up right. Getting ready inside Wyndhurst Mansion, with its grand staircase, stained glass, and rooms that have seen a century of history, the details came together quietly around them. Each of them with their families, the rooms filled with laughter, moments of quiet anticipation, and flipping through old memories the way you only do on a day like this. Before she put on her dress, Adriana's dad tucked a worry doll into her hand. The kind of tiny, unseen bridal suite moment that stays with me.

The ceremony took place on the front lawn of Wyndhurst Mansion on a perfect August afternoon. Avela Floral Design lined the aisle with wildflowers that felt less like decoration and more like the landscape just kept going. Harry walked down with both his parents, his family's tallit draped over the chuppah above. Guests arrived in their best, colorful and chic, parasols in hand for the summer sun. A personal favorite because while they are practical for the guests, the parisols are also beautiful and add a fun touch to wedding photos.

Harry + Adriana wanted to keep it traditional with no first look. So when Adriana appeared at the top of those stone steps, that was the moment. Harry waiting at the end of the aisle, the Berkshire hills behind him, and the two of them finally facing each other under the chuppah with all of it in front of them. There was laughing. There were tears. And when it was over, they kissed and walked back up that aisle like they'd been waiting their whole lives to do exactly this.

MR + MRS!

After the ceremony, guests spilled out onto the lawn, the terrace, and into the bar at Wyndhurst as the afternoon light started to shift. It was still summer, still warm, and the energy was exactly what you'd want it to be, easy and celebratory, and the perfect time for a glam touch up.

Harry and Adriana had asked for a day with no posed photos, no shot list, nothing staged. Just presence. Just moments as they happened. I got to share the day with two people I deeply admire. One of the greats in wedding photography and a longtime friend of Harry's, John Dolan, and videographer Sean McLaughlin. Getting to work alongside John, watch how he moves through a day like this, was a career high and something I'll carry with me.

THE RECEPTION DETAILS

Avela Flora and Magdalena Events brought Wyndhurst's ballroom to life in a way that made the rest of the world disappear. Wisteria cascading from the ceiling, wildflowers and candlelight at every turn. It was a room created for exactly the kind of celebration that stays with you for years and years.

THE BIG SURPRISE

Nobody saw it coming. Not the parents. Not the friends. Not Adriana.

Halfway through the night, Harry picked up a violin and suprised the room with a performance of a lifetime. See, Harry is seriously gifted, not just the 'oh i've taken a few lessons in high school'. Every lesson, every hour of practice as a kid, every person who had a hand in getting him here, it all showed up in that moment. Kind of the dream, right? The room erupted in excitement, tears and awe. The kind of emotion that only happens when someone you love does something that floors you.

The magic of a well kept secret + perfect timing delivered. It was the moment of the night!
