Abigail | BEHIND THE LENS

I'm so glad you're here!

As a self-proclaimed hopeless nostalgic, my approach to photography is rooted in connection, presence, and noticing what really matters. I move through each day with a calm, intuitive energy,  blending documentary storytelling with thoughtful, editorial guidance so people feel at ease and moments can unfold naturally, never forced.

I’m based in New England and work throughout the Berkshires, Boston, New York, and wherever your story wants to be told. Travel is a true love of mine, and I’m always ready to pack a bag - especially when it means photographing people, places, or stories that feel deeply meaningful.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me chasing warm light, near the best local spa, or bringing a really good tea along for a slow wander through shops and vintage corners. I’m drawn to nostalgia, texture, and the in-between moment. The kind of moments that say more than words ever could and get better with each passing decade.

Professionally and personally, I work best with people and brands who value honesty, emotional depth, and a sense of ease. Those who care about how something feels as much as how it looks. Whether I’m documenting a wedding, a family, a creative team, or a brand story, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel real, thoughtful, and enduring.

Testimonials

'Hiring Abby as our photographer was probably one of the most important and best decisions we made for our wedding.

Not only did the photos far exceed our wildest dreams, she was a true joy to work with. We are a little camera shy so we were a little nervous going into the day, but Abigail made us feel so comfortable and helped us actually enjoy the experience even more.

Emily + Sam

'Five Stars - I’ve had the pleasure of working with Abigail Fenton for several years across multiple brand events, and she is nothing short of exceptional. Her eye for detail, ability to capture the perfect shot, and understanding of brand moments are unmatched.'

Elissa | Jane Iredale

'I cannot recommend Abigail Fenton Photography enough! No matter your experience level with being photographed, she makes you feel completely at ease and captures you in the best light—literally and figuratively.'

FAQ

What's the experience like working together?

Thoughtful, collaborative, and unhurried. My goal is always to create space in your session where you feel comfortable being yourself.

What makes your work different?

I’m drawn to the in-between moments. The ones you feel more than you see. The small gestures, quiet energy, and emotional undercurrent that give images longevity and color the human experience.

Do you travel?

Totally! Boston, NYC and The Berkshires are home base for me, but travel is a deep love of mine, especially when the place itself holds meaning to your story.

How involved are you during a shoot or event?

I’m attentive and present without being intrusive. I’ll step in with gentle direction when it’s helpful, and step back when things are unfolding naturally. I'm always reading the room and the moment.
