FLEETING MOMENTS, PAUSED IN TIME.

Family is fleeting. These seasons pass quietly and all at once. My approach to family and portrait photography is centered on presence, connection, and the small, honest moments in between. Less posing, more being. Images that feel lived-in, emotional, and true to you.

Hey, I'm Abigail
I photograph families by paying attention to what’s already there. The way people gather, the small routines, the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. My approach is documentary with a loose editorial eye, allowing things to unfold naturally while offering gentle direction when it’s helpful. The result is imagery that feels lived-in, honest, and reflective of this season of life as it truly is.

What feels ordinary now often becomes priceless later.

FAQ

What should we wear?
I have two rules: you don’t need to match, and let your personalities shine. The thing that helps photographs really sing is when everything feels somewhat coordinated, even if that coordination leans a little chaotic. I love neutrals, but I also love color, pattern, and texture. Wear things you actually love that also work together visually.
I’m always happy to bounce around ideas with you.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
They don’t have to. The best images usually come from letting kids be themselves while I gently guide the rhythm of the session. There’s no expectation of perfect behavior, in fact, the off-center moments often make for the most fun to capture. Plus, I always pack my patience ;)
Where do the photo sessions take place?
Sessions can happen at home or in a meaningful outdoor location. I’m happy to suggest places that photograph beautifully while still feeling like you. A studio is an additional great option. Some additional fees may apply depending on your session type.
What if the weather doesn't look good?
I keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If weather would genuinely interfere with the experience or the photographs, we’ll shift to a better time.
